The Argungu Fishing Festival or Argungu Dance Festival is an annual four-day festival, the oldest festival of its kind. The festival began in the year 1934, as a mark of the end of the centuries-old hostility between the Sokoto Caliphate and the Kebbi Kingdom.
Kanta Museum was Built in 1831, the building was named after Muhammed Kanta, who founded the Kebbi Kingdom in 1515. The museum is divided into eleven compartments and has collection of weapons, charms, spears, swords, wood, stones, bows and arrows, local guns and even drums on display.
Kainji Lake, in western Nigeria, is a reservoir on the Niger River, formed by the Kainji Dam. It was formed in 1968 and is a part of Niger State and Kebbi State. Kainji Lake National Park, situated around the lake, is Nigeria's oldest National Park, established in 1976.
