Responsibilities

The Ministry of Finance is the state government body that manages the finances of Kebbi State Government, including managing, controlling and monitoring state revenues and expenditure.

The major function of the Ministry of Finance is to ensure that proper accounting can be given to Kebbi State Assembly. It also has a responsibility for ensuring that systems are in place for the efficient monitoring and reporting of all State Government’s transactions. This will therefore include the provision of financial accounting services and systems and the production of the Consolidated Accounts of Kebbi State.
