Press Release: Insecurity: Political Office holders donate half salary in Kebbi
As efforts to complement the efforts of taming insecurity in Kebbi State, political office holders in the state have donated half of their June, 2021 salary.
This invaluable gesture was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri in Birnin Kebbi, on Monday.
According to Yauri, the gesture comes at a better time when all hands were on deck to tame the myriad of security challenges in the state and Nigeria , at large .

As more groups declare support and solidarity to Governor Abubakar Atiku over his prompt response in dealing with the abduction of Birnin Yauri School children, the Council of Ulamas and the state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), have also commiserated and declared support to him.
The Governor who played host to Islamic and Christian leaders at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Thursday, met separately with the Council of Ulamas and CAN leadership in the state.
