Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has appointed the Permanent Secretary Special Services Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, as acting Head of Civil Service (HOS).

The appointment of the acting HOS followed the retirement of the immediate past Acting Head of Service, Hajiya Fatima Sani Ango , since last week.

Nigeria's Constitution,1999, as Amended, has empowered the Governor to make such appointments from among Permanent Secretaries.

The SSG, Babale Umar made the announcement at a news briefing in Birnin Kebbi this Wednesday .
