Bagudu Attends Funeral Prayer of Late Ubandoman Gwandu, Alhaji Halidu Saad

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was among hundreds of people who attended the funeral prayer of Alhaji Halidu Saad, Ubandoman Gwandu, who died this Tuesday, after a protracted illness.

The late Ubandoman Gwandu, Alhaji Halidu Saad, who was one of the Senior Councillors of the Emir of Gwandu died in the early hours of today Tuesday, 8/9/2020, at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.

Hundreds of mourners including the Governor, thronged the Yan Yara Mosque, Birnin Kebbi, to perform the funeral prayer which took place shortly after the Zuhr prayer.

Late Ubandoman Gwandu, Alhaji Halidu Saad, who was aged 70, is survived by three wives, twenty seven children, as well as several grand and great grandchildren.

His remains had since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.

The governor was accompanied to the funeral prayer by Alhaji Muhammdu Dantani (Magajin Rafin Kabi), Chairman, Direct Labour Agency and his Personal Assistant (PA), Alhaji Musa Yaro (Enabo), among several other top government officials.
