Press Release: Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) June/July 2020

The Kebbi State Arabic and Islamic Education Board wishes to inform the general public that the Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) June/July 2020 is scheduled to commence on 23rd September, 2020 and end on 19th October, 2020, nationwide. This was contained in a circular sent to the Board by the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies.

This announcement was made to public by the Ag. Executive Secretary, Dr. Buhari Bello in his office at the Haliru Abdu Secretariat Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday the 19th of August, 2020.

The Ag. Executive Secretary said, “The State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has already done incredibly well in terms of ensuring that protective measures and providing safe necessary material needed to the schools in order to prevent against the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic according to Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 guidelines during these examinations”.

He urges the students to utilise this period to study hard so that they can be able to effectively pass all their subject with an excellent grade.
Similarly, all public and private Arabic and Islamic Secondary Schools in the State are hereby requested to come to the Board to collect the copy of the Examination Time-Table.

The Secretary further appreciates the effort of Schools towards strict compliance with the guidelines on Covid-19 at the Examination Centres, especially during the Junior Arabic and Islamic School Leaving Certificate Examination (JAISLCE) that was started on Tuesday, 18th August, 2020 which was organized by the Board successfully.
