Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State says target beneficiaries of the Women and Youth Export facility, WAYEF, launched by the Nigerian Export-Import Bank, NEXIM, in Kebbi State, demonstrate remarkable success towards achieving the targeted objectives of the scheme .

Governor Atiku Bagudu gave the assurance in a virtual address to the opening session at the Flag-Off of the program, in Birnin Kebbi, on Thursday.

The Governor was immensely glad about the support by NEXIM to entrepreneurial quest by youths and women in the economic development of the nation.

The House of Representatives on Sunday condoled with the Government and people of Kebbi State over the boat mishap which claimed many lives in Warrah, Ngaski Local Government of Kebbi State.

The Members of the House of Representatives have also promised to examine the causes of recurring maritime transport accidents, with a view to coming up with measures in order to avoid future recurrence of such unfortunate mishaps.

' We are here on a very short visit to pay our condolences to the Governor, Government and people of Kebbi State on the unfortunate boat accident .
