Press release: Boat mishap: Sultan condoles Bagudu, calls for measures to avoid recurrence
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar III, has commiserated with the Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, over the tragic boat accident in Warrah, Ngaski Local Government, which claimed the lives of over 100 people, last week.
The Sultan, who was accompanied by some Emirs from Kebbi and Zamfara States was at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Tuesday, to offer his condolences and sympathize with the Government and people of Kebbi State, particularly the bereaved families.

Press Release: Bagudu wants constitutional role for traditional rulers, more resources for North
The Chairman of the Progressives Governors' Forum and Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has sought for the incorporation of a role for the traditional rulership in the Nigerian Constitution.
This is just as he also mulled for the provision of more resources, as well as more investments in the north, in order for the region to be at par with the other parts of Nigeria .
