Press Release: Boat mishap: Kebbi Govt to review extant maritime laws, says Bagudu
Kebbi State Government will review the extant maritime laws, with a view to protecting the lives and properties of marine passengers, according to the State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
Bagudu further said that, the move became imperative in the face of recurring cases of boat mishaps, resulting in the loss of lives and properties of innocent passengers .
The Kebbi State Governor was informed that, seventy six dead bodies have so far been recovered, following the boat mishap, at Warrah, on Wednesday.

Press Release: Bagudu mourns victims of Ngaski boat mishap
Kebbi State Government is in deep shock and sorrow, over the unfortunate boat accident which claimed the lives of a lot of passengers after it capsized on Wednesday, in Ngaski Local Government of the state .
The State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, condoles with the families of those affected by the unfortunate boat mishap and prayed the Almighty Allah to give the families the forbearance to bear the loss, in good faith.
