Kebbi State Governor said a Tinubu-led presidency and an administration of Kauran Gwandu, if elected, would bolster the even socio-economic development of the State and Nigeria in general.

The Progressives Governor's Forum Chairman, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON stated this on Sunday at an APC campaign rally in Dirin Daji, Sakaba Local Government Area where he also led the APC campaign team to visit Makuku and Zodi.

Bagudu urged the people of the local government and the state in general to massively vote for all APC candidates.

Bagudu, who acknowledged the rousing welcome accorded the delegation in Sakaba added that the people of the area were one hundred per cent for APC.

According to the Chairman of the APC Governors' Forum, the recent defection of some juggernauts to the party in the area was a good omen for it during the upcoming polls.

Bagudu further noted that Sakaba people are dedicated and peace loving , urging them to sustain their invaluable support and cooperation to APC and his administration.

The Governor assured that the IDPs from Garin Hausawa in Fakai would be evacuated back to their homes in the next one week as well as those from Zuru, Fakai, Danko/Wasagu Local Government Areas.

He called for sustained support in the fight against kidnapping and banditry while assuring people of Zodi, recently attacked by bandits of taking additional security measures in all the places to prevent the recurrence so that people in the area could return to their homes and continue their agricultural production.

He also made a passionate appeal to the people particularly youths to stop peddling rumours but provide intelligence report to security personnel.

In his address to thousand of APC supporters in Dirin Daji, Sakaba, Kebbi State APC governorship candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, said, if elected, his administration would partner with the Federal Government to evenly transform the state.

He said: "This can only be possible if the people of the state cast their votes for APC from top to bottom during the forthcoming general elections.

"In sha Allahu, we are confident that our great party and its candidates at all levels will emerge victorious during the polls.

''We must all come out en masse to ensure that Tinubu, myself, Bagudu and all our candidates win with landslide victories during the polls."

The Kauran Gwandu again said ninety percent of all eminent people in the state were domiciled in the APC, saying that the.people of Sakaba were not left out in this direction.

The APC flag bearer recalled that the previous administration of the the DG, campaign council, Sa'idu Nasamu Dakingari and the incumbent, Senator Atiku Bagudu had done a lot to evenly develop the state.

He vowed:'' If elected, we will sustain this feat and even surpass these colossal achievements to take Kebbi State to greater heights."

Kauran Gwandu promised to initiate empowerment programmes to bolster the socio- economic development of youths and women so that they can engage in business and agriculture.

He said women and youths were pivotal to any government desirable of development.

Chairman of Sakaba Local Government Area, Hon. Dauda Muhammad, in his welcome address to APC supporters in Dirin Daji acknowledged the mammoth crowd of supporters that thronged the venue.

The Bagudu-led administration, according to him had spent huge amount of money in projects' execution in the area particularly good roads.

Muhammad lauded Governor Bagudu on the myriad of developmental projects in his area , saying also that women groups had been empowered and were still being registered in the Nigeria for Women Project.

He appealed to the governor to construct Dirin Daji/Maza maza road.

The Chairman called on people to vote for Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

In the same vien, the State House of Assembly member of the area, appreciated the governor and his entourage for visiting Makuku.

He requested the governor to construct the road from Makuku to Zuru up to Gilwasa and also rehabilitate Government Secondary School, Dirin Daji.

He assured the governor, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all the party's candidate of support.

The State APC women leader, Hajiya Aishatu Gunabi thanked women for coming out en masse and their patience in waiting for the APC campaign team.

She appealed to them to vote for all APC candidates from top to bottom and avoid using henna decoration few days to the election so as not to have problem with the BVAS.

The State APC Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru thanked people of the area and called on them to collect their PVCs and vote for APC candidates.

He presented a decampee from the PDP, Hassan Muhammad Kango, who joined the APC with his followers.

Earlier, the Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON, APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, the DG campaign Council, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari and rest of the members of the campaign team were at Makuku where they paid courtesy visit to the District Head of Makuku, Alhaji Garba Musa Sakaba .

The campaign team also paid homage to Chief of Sakaba Chiefdom, Alhaji Ladan Musa Sakaba.

In Makuku,they received many women decampees led by Balkisu Sani who dumped PDP to join APC.

The governor briefed the people on Nigeria for Women Project and directed the council Chairman of Sakaba to ensure that 18,000 women in the area were fully engaged.

He also promised to address the issue of deplorable road condition in the area.

Also speaking, the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu assured the people of Makuku that, if elected, he would not forget Makuku and would ensure the sustainance of peace and adequate security in the area.
