Kebbi releases forty thousand economic seedlings for free distribution

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has flagged-off the distribution of seedlings of economic tress to serve as profitable venture and reinforce the fight against desert encouragement.

Forty thousand assorted seedlings of mango, paw-paw, banana, date palm, moringa, guava, orange and Cashew are being distributed to all the twenty-one local government areas of the State for onward distribution to farmers and other beneficiaries to plant and nurture to maturity.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu led a large delegation of top Government functionaries to witness the holy matrimony held at the private residence of Alhaji Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, who is the National President of Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT and the Deputy National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC.

An unprecedented crowd of eminent personalities and people from all walks of life attended the grandiose wedding of three daughters of the NUT National President and a Gwandu traditional title holder, Alhaji Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu in Birnin Kebbi this Saturday.
