The "Response to Drugs and Related Organized Crime in Nigeria" is a project implemented by UNODC in Nigeria with the overall goal to support the Government in its efforts to curb the production, trafficking and use of illicit drugs as well as prescription drugs for non-medical purposes, through improved interdiction and enforcement, prevention and treatment.
Press Release: Bagudu approves establishment of Taskforce Committee on drugs control
The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has approved the setting up of a Taskforce Committee on Drugs Control with AIG Umar Ambursa as the Chairman of the Committee.
This is contained in a circular dated 6th , August, 2021, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri.
According to the circular also, the wife of the Governor, Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu would serve as the patron of the committee.
