Press Release: State Epidemic rapid response team meets Bagudu on Cholera
The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and his Deputy, rtd Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai were briefed by the State Epidemic Rapid Response Team on the situation of cholera outbreak in the state.
The team met the Governor and his Deputy at the Council Chamber of Government House, Birnin Kebbi, this Thursday.
The team confirmed to the Governor that between January and August, 2021, 2,208 cases of Diarrhoea and Vomiting have been reported in 20 out of 21 Local Government Areas of the state out of which 55 samples were tested and 26 turned out positive.

Press Release: Secondary School Teachers in Kebbi receive training to curb drug addiction amongst students
Members of the Drug control technical committee will visit schools periodically as part of the campaign against drug addiction among students.
This is contained in a goodwill message to the closing ceremony of a three day training of Secondary School Teachers on drugs control delivered by the Chairman of the Taskforce, retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Umar Ambursa in Birnin Kebbi this Wednesday.
The Secondary School Teachers were drawn from Fifty Six Schools across the state.
